What is a Blog?
Similar to web forums, blogs are also a web-based
communication method, but are designed primarily as a personal "journal" with articles
written by one person. While others can reply with comments, it is the original
article that is the focus, not further discussion.
Blog support in MPNews
Blogs are supported by MPNews as part of the same web site that is used to display
any web forums, but they are displayed in a separate
section. By using the access control settings, you can select who is allowed to
post new articles to a blog and who is allowed to post comments.
In addition to this way of displaying and posting blog articles, MPNews also supports
RSS and Atom feeds and various blogging APIs.
